We’re Littlepay - a fast growing fintech company, and the world's only payment processor specialising in transit payments. We've created a versatile payments platform which allows customers using public transport to tap on and tap off using any payment card, mobile wallet, or wearable device. Our contactless payment solution has been launched with several of Europe’s major transport operators, and we’re now looking to expand globally. We’re a small team who all share the same passion for the product we’ve created, and we’re looking for an equally passionate Communications Specialist who can help drive our marketing and communications plan forward.
You’re a talented content creator who’s able to think creatively and strategically to develop engaging content, but you’d still be happy to roll up your sleeves and use your generalist marketing skills to help bring our marketing plan to life. As a driven self-starter, you’re capable of initiating projects on your own and can work autonomously, but you also understand the importance of collaborating with the wider team. Ideally, you’ll be able to tick these boxes:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications or a related discipline
- At least three years’ experience in a similar communications or marketing role, ideally within tech or payments
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to understand technical information and translate it into compelling content for a specific audience
- Experience coordinating a broad range of marketing activities, and managing external freelance and agency resources
- Knowledge of contemporary B2B marketing principles and experience in the execution of B2B marketing plans
- Strong analytical skills (e.g. ability to interpret Google Analytics).
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with our Product, Partnerships and Business Development teams, you’ll take a keen interest in getting to know our business to deeply understand what we do and why it matters to our audience.
Your primary role will be to create interesting and well-researched content for a variety of channels including: EDMs, case studies, collateral, press releases, blog posts, website copy and pitch decks. You will also coordinate the resources to execute our marketing plan by working with our larger customers in joint marketing activities, managing external freelance and agency resources as required, and taking charge of our social media activity.
This is the perfect opportunity if you’re a talented Communications Specialist with a background in marketing - you’ll have the chance to take ownership of our digital content and marketing activities with extra support from a talented external marketing consultant. This role would suit someone looking for flexibility in a part-time capacity (~3 days per week).
