The Littlepay Launchpad Program

Building on a Legacy of Inclusion

Launched in 2024, the Littlepay Launchpad Program honours the vision of our beloved colleague, Mel Boyce, who we sadly lost in 2023 after his courageous battle with cancer. As our Head of Platform & Security, Mel tirelessly championed diversity and inclusion within the tech community.

Equally fundamental to his approach was the deep conviction that if you had the capacity and capability to help, then as a human, you should. This was fundamental to how Mel operated ~ within his team, throughout the company, and in his life.

As our CEO Amin Shayan shared at the time of his passing, “Littlepay is in mourning today, grieving the loss of our dear friend and colleague Mel Boyce. Mel’s voice always carried the truth, and his heart compassion. A true believer in seeking diverse views and backgrounds for greater understanding and richer dialogue, we are heartbroken for his loss but stronger for his legacy which will certainly live on. Vale Mel!

The Littlepay Launchpad Program honors Mel’s vision by actively working to bridge gaps and remove barriers, making careers in tech more accessible to a wider range of individuals. Through this program, we take action to build a more diverse and inclusive tech landscape, ensuring Mel’s legacy continues to inspire and shape our future.
