The PAR Solution: Blocking Fraud at the Account Level Littlepay
The partnership with HID Global opens up further contactless open loop payment options for public transit.
Littlepay, a payments infrastructure provider, today announced a partnership with HID Global, a worldwide leader in trusted identity solutions, through their contactless EMV platform integration with HID Global’s ticketing technology.
The HID® VAL100™ validator and HID TripTick™ ATR220 readers are now EMV® L3 certified for use within Littlepay’s modular payments infrastructure, providing a streamlined contactless payment solution.
HID Global has a suite of transit ticketing products designed for applications including on-board, platforms, ticket barriers, turnstiles and kiosks. The state of the art HID TripTick reader, and the HID VAL100, when fitted with a TripTick device, offer EMV® Level 2 certification and PCI and SRED compliance. They can read contactless cards, QR codes and barcodes, making them versatile within any AFC system.
HID Global’s transit devices offer a straightforward installation process and a single point of presentation for any tickets regardless of media.
Solutions designed for better passenger experience

“We are thrilled to partner with HID Global. Their technology fits well within our system, and together we will be offering a solution that puts passenger experience first. Now that the reader and validator are fully integrated and ‘Littlepay ready’, we are able to offer transit agencies our combined solution within weeks of signing a contract.”
